Located in the island of Mauritius, this resort is surrounded by coral reefs and dramatic mountains. Shanti Maurice - Hotel, Villas & Spa features ocean-facing luxurious villas and suites, surrounded by exotic gardens and terraces.The hotel is embedded in a beautiful large park which is well maintained. We loved the beach, the main pool, and the overall design of things. Great spa, enough spaces to find peace and serenity. Food was good and plenty, although on the more expensive side. The hotel offers many things for children, including the Kids Club (which we couldn't use) and the fish feeding ritual. My son loved it. I was impressed by the kindness of staff, especially Darshini, Luxmi, Preema, Dev, and Lawrence. From the front desk to housekeeping to spa and in the restaurant, they gave us the feeling of being at home. My son got sick after we arrived, and the hotel organised a medical doctor immediately. It is one of the best hotels I ever stayed in. We will be back soon.
