Featuring a garden and views of city, Marco Polo Guest House is a sustainable guest house situated in Kuching, 8 km from Borneo Convention Centre Kuching. It is located 12 km from Sarawak Stadium and provides a shared kitchen. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace.The guesthouse is well located, close to various bus stops and the waterfront. The single room is large and clean, with a window, a small table with a chair and even a lockable closet. It's a bit loud in the morning, the garbage collection comes very early and the walls aren't quite as soundproof, but I still found it very nice. Sam had offered that I could either take this room or one without a window, but I stayed in the one with a window. The mattress was actually a bit hard, but that was the case in other accommodations too, so maybe that's normal.The owners Sam and Jane are super nice, helpful and always open to a conversation and always have tips and information to hand. The breakfast was also plentiful and lovingly prepared. The stay is rounded off by the sweet and sometimes playful furry friends.Most of the guests were friendly, communicative and considerate. I felt very comfortable and would choose it again.
