The apartment complex has a barbecue, outdoor fireplace and sun terrace.Amazing! The apartment is beautiful, a work of art in itself. While it doesn't have a view out to the sea (except from the bathroom), there are large sliding glass doors and windows in the living room and bedrooms that open onto a lovely lawn and garden, with unspoiled forest beyond. Even the drive up is spectacular. The apartment is well designed, with ample space and very comfortable furniture and beds (with high quality linens and plenty of pillows). The kitchen was generously stocked with breakfast and snack items, as well as everything we needed to prepare a simple meal. The hosts are a lovely couple who live in the main house. They kept in touch, letting us know when they were out and how to contact them if we needed to, and providing us with a flexible checkout as they didn't have a following guest. Everything was spotlessly clean and in good repair. We appreciated the underfloor heating system that kept the entire space at a comfortable and even temperature even during the chilly early morning, and we made use of the washer and dryer (provided in the garage). Truly this was a wonderful stay in a very special place. I just wish we could have stayed longer.
